AN EXTRAVAGANZA OF BEAUTY, BRAINS AND PAGEANTRY IN PHILADELPHIA
This year marks the 12th Anniversary of the Miss Caribbean US Beauty Pageant; the special events are planned including but not limited to Interviews, Parades, Pageant Showcase, Magazines and the Press Party.
This year is marks the first time that the Interview will be conducted one week before the pageant. August 4th we have an
interview with one of the TV Station. August 18th, we have our Farewell dinner for the reigning Queen Miss Stacy Greene;
We also have rehearsal at the Barbados Social Club.
Yolanda Wallace, CEO/ President of the Miss Caribbean US Beauty Pageant is once again coordinating and producing this annual affair with the help of Denise Samuel, Monique McNicol, President, Lorenzo DeCaul of the St Vincent Organization of PA,
President Sylvan Payne of the Barbados Social Clun of Philadelphia, Regianni Legagneur and President Judy of Latin Move in Philadelphia.
There are 16 countries represented in this annual Miss Caribbean US Beauty Pageant: Antigua,
Barbados, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Panama, Puerto Rico, St Vincent, Turks & Cacaos, Trinidad
& Tobago, Islander USA, US Virgin Island and Venezuela.
The Miss Caribbean US Beauty Pageant has received growing national attention each passing year. The pageant has become an annual staple for Caribbean nationals in the Delaware Valley and for friends who annually journey to Philadelphia just to participate in this one of a kind event.
