Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2012, helped Knight-Thon raise raised more than $160,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Elizabeth Fechtel spent the weekend at the University of Central Florida to participate in the annual Knight-Thon, a fundraising event for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
This year, Elizabeth was invited as a special guest to perform her award-winning dance routine to “I Am What I Am.” The all-day dance marathon pulled in nearly 500 students and raised more than $160,000 for CMNH.

Miss America’s Outstanding Teen is a scholarship-based program offering accomplished teens the opportunity to be awarded funds for college. The program promotes scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement for America’s teens. In the past five years, the organization has made available more than $4 million in college scholarships.
