Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Performs to Raise Funds for CMNH






Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2012, helped Knight-Thon raise raised more than $160,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Elizabeth Fechtel spent the weekend at the University of Central Florida to participate in the annual Knight-Thon, a fundraising event for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

This year, Elizabeth was invited as a special guest to perform her award-winning dance routine to “I Am What I Am.” The all-day dance marathon pulled in nearly 500 students and raised more than $160,000 for CMNH.

Miss America’s Outstanding Teen is a scholarship-based program offering accomplished teens the opportunity to be awarded funds for college. The program promotes scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement for America’s teens.
