Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan Says Aloha to Amway’s Diamond Club in Hawaii
Although Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan has only been on the job for a few weeks, she is already traveling outside the continental U.S.! She made one of her first appearances on the enchanted island of Maui, Hawaii, following her exciting trip to the Super Bowl for the “A Taste of The NFL” events!
Teresa arrived in style for one of Amway’s largest annual events on behalf of Artistry, Miss America’s official skincare and cosmetic provider. She shined brightly at Diamond Club, a leadership forum that provides an opportunity for Amway’s most successful independent business owners (IBOs), to gather and celebrate Amway’s success.
During her visit, Teresa met with Amway’s successful IBOs, followed by a photo opportunity at the beautiful Maui Center. She also met with Amway’s marketing advisory committee and had the chance to try soon-to-launch Artistry products during relaxing facial and makeup applications. For the finale, Teresa filmed a number of exciting videos that Artistry will introduce in the near future. Keep an eye out at www.amway.com/beauty or www.facebook.com/artistry to see more of our beautiful Miss America! Before leaving the island, she was able to visit the beaches and dip her toes in to the beautiful blue waters for the first time – carrying on the tradition of the Miss Americas before her.
Since embarking on her year of service, Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan has also traveled to Canada, meeting with the Joseph Ribkoff Inc., her wardrobe provider. Next on the agenda, Teresa will travel to New Jersey this weekend to an American Signature Furniture Store. She is looking forward to experiencing the excitement of the Miss America Youth Collection and meeting the little girls who dream of becoming Miss America someday.
