A Reminder to Pageant Titleholders – Is this complaint letter what you would want the public to write about YOU?
This letter came into PageantCenter.com from a member of the public who was deeply disappointed in the appearance of her state titleholder, who made an appearance in her area. We are publishing it as a reminder to new pageant titleholders that you are considered to be a rolemodel. As such, please dress like a rolemodel, a lady, and a true winner in life.
Earlier this month, Miss (pageant title removed) made a visit to the (name of city removed)…. Nothing about this visit impressed my students or myself. When I think of Miss (pageant title removed), what I saw that day does not meet that image. Miss (pageant title removed) wore the following outfit: black leggings, light orange top that came (barely) to her hips and black boots that had at least 6 inch heels. If I had not seen the crown and the sash, I would have thought that this person was not of good moral standing… in other words, she reminded me of a ‘street walker’. … I do not think that someone representing our state should go out in public dressed like that…I do hope that something is done about this. Thank you
