The 2017 Miss Art Deco Beauty Pageant Winners are Announced
Miami, FL, January 14, 2017- Presenting the newly crowned titleholders Miss Art Deco 2017, Layda Hernandez, and Miss Teen Art Deco 2017, Naomi Quinonez. Both awarded the titles at a crowning ceremony during the Vintage Fashion Show with emcee host Janine Stanwood news anchor of WLPG Local 10 at the Art Deco Welcome Center during the 40th Annual Art Deco Weekend held on Miami Beach. The Miss Art Deco Beauty Pageant celebrated their fifth year produced by Beauty Touches Group Productions.
Layda Hernandez is a 24-year-old student of Nova Southeastern University majoring in Psychology. Her current occupation is the office associate for the City of Miami Beach. Her career goal is to one day become a city manager. Her hobbies are traveling, and dancing. Layda Hernandez formerly held the winning title of Miss Cuban American. She is currently residing in Miami Beach.
Naomi Quinonez is a 16-year-old student at Western High School in Davie, Florida. Naomi’s hobbies are modeling, and reading books. Her career goal is to become an international fashion model and study forensic psychology. Previously, Naomi has received modeling and etiquette training by Alicia Faccio Modeling School and in BH Talents. This is the very first representing title for Naomi after previously placing as first runner up in at Miss South Florida Teen USA.
Both titleholders will be active during their reigning year earning opportunities to advance in national and international level competitions. We look forward to having them represent the title.
