Miss Country Western USA Honors American Veterans

     

Burbank American Legion Post #150 to hold “Open House” on Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 11th from Noon to 6 pm. To Welcome all Veterans.  Public is encouraged to attend.

Past Commander Ralph Walker, and the Members of the Burbank American Legion Post #150 will be celebrating Veteran’s Day with Open House, at the Legion Post, located at 940 W. Olive Ave., in Burbank. The doors will open at noon as the event commencement will be set into motion with a tribute ceremony to all American Veterans.

 

Featuring comments by Combat Veterans, Dignitaries and a special appearance by the reigning “Miss Country Western USA” (Miss Jessica Cronjager) who emulates the American Spirit, Girl Next Door and Apple Pie.  The ceremony will be followed by a Karaoke Party and Hot Dog Luncheon.  Free to all Card Holding Member of the Legion and only a $3 donation for all others.

 

According to event organizer and spokesperson (Military Combat Veteran and Post #150  Past Commander, Mr. Ralph Walker)  “We will have application for any attending Military Veterans.”  “Bring your DD-214 and we will sign you up on the spot.” According to Walker.

Burbank American Legion Post #150 to celebrate Veteran’s Day

The Burbank unit has been undergoing revitalization and is looking to the future of their established Post, in seeking new membership. If you are a Veteran, now is the perfect time to consider becoming a member of the AMERICAN LEGION!  The Post works to assist past and present Military Personnel, and promote patriotism amongst the citizens of their community.

There will be a No-Host Bar on the premises.  If you love Karaoke, and have the urge to share a few minutes of fame, bring your (CD+G) with you, or choose from the many selections our Karaoke DJ will have on hand.  It’s “Open Mic.” Time at the Legion on this special occasion.

 

Food, Music, and Fun to celebrate all those who have served and are serving this country.  “Miss Country Western USA” will be giving  12X16   (personally autographed) Posters to all Veterans FREE and to the Public for any donation to the Post.  Come and join her, and the many Veteran’s on our special day.

Miss Country Western USA, Jessica Cronjager of Simi Valley, California.

The 2011-2012 Reigning Queen, places a long stem Red Rose floral arrangement on the Veteran’s Monument at the “Dignity” Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial in North Hollywood; to commemorate this coming Veteran’s Day.

Mr. Walker is also a staff member at Pierce Brothers, as well as Past Commander of the Legion.
