Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan joined the New York City Rescue Mission yesterday where she served as the honorary host of their annual Great Thanksgiving Banquet. Teresa was joined by several national and local celebrities such as Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb and New York City officials, who were all on hand to help the mission serve over 1,000 meals to the homeless and those less fortunate.
Teresa will celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday in the 85th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Look for the tune-in alert!
