Troy University will provide scholarships for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant contestants
Miss America’s Outstanding Teen is pleased to announce that Troy University will be partnering with us for another year to provide several in-kind scholarships for the 2012 contestants. This year, the university will be providing both the Chancellor’s Award and the Scholars Award to eligible contestants.
The Chancellor’s Award will be given to high school seniors who achieved a minimum of a 27 composite score on the ACT or a minimum 1220 total score on the SAT (verbal and quantitative only) and has maintained a 3.5 GPA. The Scholars Award will be given to contestants who have obtained a minimum 31 composite score on the ACT or a minimum 1380 total score on the SAT (verbal and quantitative only) and have a 3.7 GPA. Both awards are four-year renewable full tuition scholarships. The Scholars Award also includes room and board.
