On Sunday, November 27, 2011, America will witness one of the most beautiful Latino cultural pageants, the Miss Latina Global. The beautiful venue of the La Mirada Performing Arts Center is expected to have a sold out crowd to witness this historical event. The Miss Latina Global Delegates will mesmerize the audience in their colorful and rich national costumes presentation, in their sensational swimsuit competition and they will bring out their Latina elegance in the evening gown presentation. What makes this a unique pageant, is that, it will be presented all in English, this will allow the non-Latino speaking communities to enjoy and understand the beauty and rich culture of the Latino communities.
The selection of the Miss Latina Global is not just purely based on beauty. The title is earned through hard work, together with demonstrations of self-confidence, intelligence, dedication, beauty, poise and elegance. The winner will serve as the Ambassador of Culture and Goodwill for all Latino communities in America.
The Pageant is hosted by actor Gabriel Romero, born and raised in Mexico and now established his career in Hollywood as an actor. He has starred and appeared in over 100 movies and commercials. His lovely co-host is the bubbly and beautiful Rodri Rodriguez. Born and raised in Cuba, Rodri, is the producer of the very successful Mariachi USA. A multi awardee, multi-talented, a radio host and commentator. Rodri is a savvy entrepreneur and philanthropist.
This colorful evening will be filled with glitz and glamor, suspense and excitement! The audience will be treated to an array of cultural dances, modern Tangos, Zamba, Spanish dancers and a high-energy performance from the American Ballet of Los Angeles. And yes! Belly Dancers too. The GITANOS y RUMBALEIROS a Spanish band, will play live in their rumba flamenco medley as the delegates glides on the stage in their Evening Gown Competition. Make sure to arrive early, so that you will not miss the heat of the Red Carpet!
The Miss Latina Global competition is produced by Virgelia Productions, Inc. The producers of the premiere cultural pageants Miss Asia USA and Mrs. Asia USA. Virgelia Productions is a full service event planner who takes unparalleled passion and commitment in delivering high quality pageants. We provide a solid and serious training to the contestants to enhance their social skills, enhance their poise and confidence level. Our goal is to prepare these young ladies to succeed in whatever journey they may take in the future.
