Rain Cosmetics announced today a partnership with the Miss Universe Organization as the new Official Cosmetics Sponsor
The Las Vegas-based beauty brand will sponsor the 60th annual MISS USA ® Pageant, which will air on NBC Sunday, June 19 (9-11 p.m. ET) from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas at the Theatre for Performing Arts.
The chic new cosmetics line hailed as “the sexiest makeup in the world” will make its official pageant debut in June. Rain Cosmetics and their team of professional makeup artists will work with the Miss USA contestants during their three-week stay in Las Vegas, including the preliminary competition and the live final broadcast.
51 delegates from across the country will put their best faces forward with Rain’s complexion perfecting products that provide lightweight, long-wearing coverage. The rich pigments and high-definition finishes will allow the beauties to showcase their flawless faces both on and off camera.
“The Miss Universe Organization is thrilled to partner with a fashion forward cosmetic brand like Rain that gets its inspiration from, and is based in Las Vegas, a city we call home away from home,” said Paula Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization. “As we head back to Planet Hollywood for this year’s pageant, we wanted a makeup brand that was chic and bold, yet has the long lasting effect that will help our girls stay camera ready.”
Rain Cosmetics owner, Lori Montoya said, “Rain Cosmetics is honored to work with an organization known for empowering women while showcasing their beauty and humanitarian goals. The MISS USA® Pageant is a glamorous event and the contestants needs to look great and feel confident all night. Our vibrant colors and long-wearing formulas are a perfect fit.”
