Atlantic City, NJ (September 15th, 2015) – The 2016 Miss America Competition aired Live on Sunday, September 13th from Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall on the ABC Television Network for its 95th Anniversary broadcast. The telecast came in at #1 on the Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings Top Ten (Series and Specials) for the week of September 7 – September 13, 2015. The competition featured the 51 Miss America Pageant contestants, Miss America 2015 Kira Kazantsev, and the newly-crowned Miss America 2016, Betty Cantrell of Georgia.
