Be a Part of Shining Crown Pageant Productions’ First Ever Southeast Regional Pageant
One of Pageant Center’s sponsoring advertisers is reminding visitors that there is one week left to apply to apply for the regional competition for the Miss U.S. of America Pageant on May 15th, 2011.
On May 15, 2011, girls and women of all ages from all across the southeastern U.S. will come together at the Marriott Executive Park in Charlotte, NC to compete in the first ever southeast regional pageant for the Miss U.S. of America system. The pageant is open to girls and women of all ages from southeastern states, with the option to compete in talent, modeling, and photogenic competitions. The contestants will be competing for eleven prestigious southeastern U.S. of America titles as well as several other awards and prizes. Winners and award recipients over the age of 4 will have an opportunity to move on to compete for $20,000 in prizes at the 13th national Miss U.S. of America pageant to be held in Connecticut in August 2011. The Miss Southeast U.S. of America pageant will proudly donate a portion of their proceeds to both United Cerebral Palsy as well as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Nisha Hirani, M.D., of Fort Mill, SC, President and CEO of Shining Crown Productions is the director of the Miss Southeast U.S of America pageant system. “Pageants and events produced by Shining Crown Productions focus on promoting self-confidence, self-esteem and building friendships. I want to acknowledge and support the young women and girls of our region who are achievers, leaders and role models in their schools and communities. Our pageant is where they can truly shine! We encourage our girls to use their gifts and their titles to give back to their communities.”
Dr. Nisha Hirani has been involved in pageantry for the past 20 years as a competitor, judge, and volunteer. She also has experience judging talent, modeling and photogenic competitions. She has been a stylist for contestants that have won numerous pageant titles in the northeast and southern pageant circuits and photo competitions. She has held past titles and has won several awards for talent for piano playing, community service, academics and public speaking over the years. She received a B.S. in Biology and Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University and later went on to receive her medical degree.
