
Miss South Florida USA and Miss South Florida Teen USA Pageant winners
2016 Miss South Florida USA and Miss South Florida Teen USA Pageant Hollywood, FL — Presenting the new winners Miss South Florida USA, Lisa Opie, and Miss South Florida Teen USA, Victoria Kontzamanys, crowned at Hollywood Studios Florida.
The competition featured 10 contestants throughout South Florida. Both winners will advance to the state pageant of Miss Florida USA® and Miss Florida Teen USA®, preliminaries to MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA®.
Victoria Kontzamanys is a 17 year old dual enrolled student at Terra Environmental Institute and Miami Dade College. She is member of her school’s dance team, FBLA, and Emeralds Cheerleading. She is also a member of the Miami Dade County Youth Commission.
Her hobbies are dancing with Dance Empire of the Miami, cheerleading, and community service. She has been awarded Mayor’s Scholar Award, Duke of Edinburgh, and Silver knight Nominee. Her platform is to work with American Cancer Society after recently losing her father after battling cancer. Her career goal is to become a Marketing Director in the Sports Industry.
She is the proud daughter of Tracey Cerchiai Kontzamanys. Victoria formerly held the winning titles of Miss North Miami Beach Teen USA and Miss Clay County Outstanding Teen, preliminary to Miss America Outstanding Teen.
Lisa Opie is a 23 year old graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Lisa was awarded Full scholarship to the Youth Leadership Institute’s in Washington DC and a full scholarship for her Yoga Teacher Training. She is the founding director of Academic Achievement for her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha and also formed her owned organization called Japan Circle for Japanese students embracing her Japanese heritage. She is now resides in Miami, Florida currently working her dream jobs as a Full-Time Actress, Fashion Model, and Swimwear Designer.
She is the business owner of her company Vizcaya Swimwear and Founder of Anti-Bullying and Women’s Empowerment Organization called Lady Code. In the future she would like to obtain her Juris Doctor and run for Public Office. Lisa is the proud daughter of Kayoko and George Opie.
The other contestants placed were first runner up teen, Lauren Montalvan and first runner up, Jazmin Abuaf.
The contestant that took the winning titles of both “People’s Choice” and “Amity” was awarded to Isabella Siniscalchi.
