Miss America’s Outstanding Teen’s Class of 2012 is welcomed to Las Vegas by Miss Nevada’s Outstanding Teen 2011 Bailey Gumm
The contestants, who are in town for the 2012 Miss America Pageant, began their day by visiting the “Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. Once they were done, they were escorted to the St. Rose San Martin Campus. The young women toured the campus and saw how the funds they raise for Children’s Miracle Network are saving lives each day.
They then enjoyed a luncheon at Mimi’s Cafe.
The young women rounded out their day with a trip to the future Wayne Newton Museum. The Museum was honored to take the MAOTeen contestants on a sneak preview of the Casa de Shenandoah Ranch. The contestants were treated to the beauty and splendor of the Casa de Shenandoah, while getting to see a menagerie of animals. The ranch tour showcased what a wonderful oasis the Casa de Shenandoah Ranch is, right here in Las Vegas. The Wayne Newton Museum and Casa de Shenandoah Ranch tour will open to the public later this year.
The contestants, dressed in matching t-shirts and pink jackets that were donated by Casa de Shenandoah, enjoyed an extremely fun-filled day of events in Fabulous Las Vegas.
