A leading pageant coach, who has earned the nickname, the “Simon Cowell of the pageant world” has cleaned up at Miss England for the second consecutive year, taking not only the crown but the 1st runner-up place too. David Douglass of Front Models, who specialise in recruiting and training pageant contestants, ran a series of regional qualifier for Miss England this year, and then coached and nurtured their regional winners to national success.
Just a few days ago, David watched as his very own girls, Miss Devon Charlotte Holmes took the Miss England Pageant crown, and Miss North Yorkshire Anastasia Smith took the 1st runners-up place. He also had another four girls – Miss Hampshire Grace Levy, Miss Sussex Alyse Spratt, Miss Berkshire Kirsty Beer and Miss Brighton Kitty Williams – all secure a place in the top 17.
David Douglass of Front Models, who has earned the nickname “Simon Cowell of the pageant world” for all his work and subsequent success with pageant contestants said, “We are committed and dedicated to succeeding and invest a great deal of time with all our regional winners, preparing, coaching and training them. In the run up to Miss England I experienced them growing in self-confidence and self-esteem, and truly blossoming as young women. I am proud of all them, especially Charlotte, who, being the last year she could compete in the competition probably worked the hardest out of all the girls and was the most determined to win the title. She is one of the finest girls I have ever had the pleasure to work with”
David and his team of expert trainers at Front Models, which include former Miss England 2008 Laura Coleman and former Miss Universe GB 2010 Tara Hoyos-Martinez, worked with Miss England 2011 Alize-Lily Mounter in the run up to the Miss England grand final and also in the run up to Miss World where she placed 4th securing the titles of Miss World Beach Beauty, Miss World Europe and Miss UK.
David is not only assisted by both Laura and Tara, he has some of the biggest brands supporting him as well including: Cargo Clothing, Fever Designs, Toni & Guy, MAC and Great Lengths Hair.
David continued, “We will continue to work with Charlotte, helping her to prepare both mentally and physically for the Miss World final in July/August, as well as for the remainder of her reign as Miss England. We will also be running more Miss England heats across the country with a view of finding the next Miss England.”
Front Models provides models for hospitality and promotional work across the country and is about to launch its new Beauty Queens gallery, which will feature a number of pageant winners that clients can book to make an appearance at an event.
