Chicago, IL – Accomplished, beautiful and talented women of color from all over the world will be traveling to Chicago, Illinois the last week in May 2013 to compete for the coveted title of Miss Black Universe®. The Miss Black Universe® Pageant is exclusively for women of color ages 18 and up. Celebrity guest and the first woman to be crowned Miss Black Universe® Byrgundy Mallory will also be attendance to celebrate the crowning of the newest titleholder.

Delegates include models, students, business owners, mothers, nurses and more. The competition is judged by experienced professionals in pageantry, entertainment, fashion and business. Delegates will compete in Interview, Photogenic, Fashion Wear, Evening Wear and Fitness. The finale competition and crowing of Miss Black Universe® and other titleholders will take place Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois.
